Less than two weeks to go until harvesting. The bulbs have started to segment and are looking amazing. Always love this time of the year when you get to finally see the end product.
After three years, we are back. Brymworth Farm has continued to grow the yummy Flinders Island Purple Garlic over the last few years but there have been many challenges thrown our way. Sadly, we have had to say goodbye to love ones, dealt with some difficult hurdles thrown our way and endured some interesting growing seasons. But on the upside, we have extended our faming operations and we are now the proud owners of two sheep farms. Never a dull moment at Brymworth Farm.
The 2018 harvest commences in just under a month, and we are wrapped with this years garlic crop. It is hard to believe that we have been growing garlic for eleven years and still have such a passion for the product.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
The Brymworth Farm Garlic Shop will not open this year. The 2013 garlic crop was not a success and we have been forced to hold all stock back so that we have enough to plant in 2014.
We are still producing our Dehydrated Garlic, so if you would like to purchase this product please send us an email.
Garlic planting has halted, well at least for the morning. It is finally raining. We had nearly forgotten what rain looked like.
Not too sure if Maxwell is enjoying the rain as much as Chilli.
The Flinders Island Purple Garlic is now sold out. It has been a wonderful year and we thank all those who have supported us.
Here is our last delivery heading out to Melbourne.
Due to an overwhelming amount of enquiries for our Spanish Rojo Garlic we are unable to release this variety for sale via our website. For all those who have made an enquiry, we will contact you shortly to process your orders.
The 2012 Spanish Rojo wasn't as successful due to a difficult season. We have had to hold back a lot more stock this time, so that we will have enough to plant for the 2013 crop.
For those who are lucky enough to receive the Spanish Rojo, enjoy as it is a wonderful garlic, not only for its taste but also because it will last until Aug/Sept.

Never too young to start in the garlic family business. Although, I am not too sure how keen the youngest is!!
